These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are between you and Veepo, doing business as Veepo (“Veepo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at Ajax, Ontario, Canada. They govern Veepo's websites, iOS app, job feed, résumé tools, application-assistance services, managed inbox, company ratings, and related features (the “Service”).

Important application instruction

Creating an account, accepting these Terms, completing your profile, viewing, saving, or scrolling past a job does not authorize Veepo to submit an application.

Automatic submission is available only after you separately activate and accept Veepo's Autopilot Authorization. Once Autopilot is active, double-tapping a clearly labelled job card or selecting its Apply control is your instruction to Veepo to prepare and attempt to submit that specific application, subject to these Terms and any handoff Veepo presents.

Turning off Autopilot stops future automatic submissions and work that has not begun. A started interaction may already have transmitted information to an employer form, and an application already submitted cannot be recalled.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

You accept these Terms through Veepo's required acceptance control. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains our personal-information practices. Marketing email and product analytics are separate optional choices and default off. Autopilot requires a separate recorded authorization that includes cloud-browser operation and mandatory session recording. Using Veepo's application service also requires completion of the self-identification profile section and acknowledgment that saved answers may be reused on employer forms and processed through Veepo's isolated sensitive-field mapping path. A supported "prefer not to answer" or decline selection completes an answer.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. You may use Veepo only for your own lawful job search and only in the countries or regions where we make it available. As of this version, Veepo is offered in North America and Europe, including Quebec and the United Kingdom. Where you reside in a region with mandatory local-language or consumer-protection requirements (such as Quebec), Veepo makes the Service available there only once those requirements are met.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current information, protect your credentials, and notify us at support@veepo.app if your account may be compromised. You may not create an account for someone else or allow another person to apply in your name.

You are responsible for activity through your account except to the extent caused by Veepo's breach of these Terms or applicable law.

3. What Veepo provides

Veepo may help you:

  • discover, rank, save, and organize job postings;
  • receive match scores and explanations;
  • import, build, edit, export, and tailor résumés;
  • draft cover letters and screening responses;
  • prepare and, when authorized, attempt supported applications;
  • track application activity and employer responses;
  • use a managed application email address and generated applicant credentials; and
  • submit structured company ratings.

Veepo does not employ you, represent an employer, make hiring decisions, negotiate employment terms, or accept an employment offer for you. Nothing in the Service is legal, immigration, tax, or professional advice. Veepo does not guarantee placement, interviews, offers, compensation, or application success.

Whether the Service is legally classified as a recruiter, employment agency or similar regulated service depends on applicable law and is not determined by this description.

4. Job postings and supported sites

Job postings originate from employers, applicant-tracking systems (“ATSs”), and other third parties. Veepo may normalize, summarize, categorize, deduplicate, or display them, but does not control them.

A posting may be inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, stale, misleading, fraudulent, or withdrawn without notice. You should verify material information directly with the employer. Displaying a posting does not mean Veepo endorses the employer or verifies that a vacancy exists.

Automatic submission is available only for the sources Veepo supports. As of this version, only Greenhouse and Lever are production-supported for automatic submission. Other sources may appear solely for discovery, preparation, link-out, or manual completion. Code or testing for another ATS does not mean it is live or supported.

Support may change if a third party changes its forms, access, technical controls, or policies. Veepo may pause or refuse an application that is unsupported, unsafe, uncertain, duplicative, or prohibited.

Suspicious postings may be reported through Veepo's Report job control on any job's detail view. See our Fraudulent Job Posting Policy.

5. Matches and recommendations

Veepo may use your résumé, application profile, stated preferences, job activity, and posting information to rank opportunities and explain possible matches.

A match score is an estimate, not:

  • a statement of employer interest;
  • a hiring, eligibility, or employment decision;
  • a prediction of an interview, offer, salary, or outcome; or
  • a guarantee that the job is suitable or available.

Match information may be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for deciding whether to apply. Veepo does not provide its match score to employers.

Veepo does not use saved self-identification information (such as race or ethnicity, gender, disability, or veteran status) to calculate job matches, rank opportunities, generate application materials or measure product use.

6. Application modes

Review mode

When Autopilot is off, double-tapping or selecting Apply may add the job to your application workspace and prepare suggested materials. It does not authorize Veepo's agent to perform the employer's final submission. You must review and complete any required submission yourself.

Autopilot

Autopilot is off by default. It is optional and turns on only through a separate, recorded authorization; it is not enabled merely because you created an account or accepted these Terms.

When Autopilot is on, each double-tap or Apply selection submits that application without a further approval step, except where Veepo must pause for a required handoff. Enabling Autopilot is therefore a deliberate authorization, made once and recorded with its version and time; the specific actions you authorize, including the employer-facing legal choices Veepo may make in your name, are described in section 7.

While Autopilot is active, each double-tap or Apply selection is a separate instruction for that job. Autopilot does not authorize Veepo to independently select and apply to jobs without a job-specific action from you unless we introduce a distinct feature and obtain new express authorization.

You may disable Autopilot at any time. Disabling it stops Veepo from enqueuing or automatically submitting new applications; an application already queued or in progress may still complete. Veepo reads your Autopilot setting when it starts a run, not again immediately before the final submit step. Disabling Autopilot cannot erase information already entered or sent, and it cannot recall a submitted application.

7. Limited electronic agency

For each valid Autopilot instruction, you appoint Veepo as your limited electronic agent solely to perform the technical steps reasonably necessary to prepare and attempt that application.

Depending on the employer form and your settings, you authorize Veepo to:

  • use your current profile, résumé, selected documents, preferences, and saved factual answers;
  • generate job-specific résumé or cover-letter variants;
  • populate ordinary application fields;
  • upload selected materials;
  • use your assigned Veepo application email;
  • create an applicant account and generate credentials when required;
  • receive employer messages or verification codes through the managed inbox;
  • navigate a supported employer form in a cloud browser;
  • perform reasonable pre-submission technical retries; and
  • select Submit when the application is ready and no required handoff remains.

This is a narrow technical authorization for the mechanics of applying. It is not a general power of attorney or fiduciary appointment, and it is not authority to:

  • accept or reject an offer of employment;
  • negotiate salary or other employment terms;
  • answer employer self-identification questions contrary to your saved response;
  • make a material statement Veepo cannot draw from your saved information; or
  • submit information Veepo knows to be false.

Employer legal choices under Autopilot. Because Autopilot completes an application from start to submission, enabling it authorizes Veepo, where an employer's form requires it as part of submitting that application, to make legally significant choices in your name. This includes authority to:

  • accept the employer's or ATS's terms of use, privacy notices, and applicant acknowledgements;
  • agree to certifications and attestations, such as that the answers in your application are true and complete;
  • authorize a background, credit, reference, or similar verification the employer requires to proceed; and
  • provide an electronic signature, or type your name where an applicant signature or certification is required.

The Autopilot Authorization screen enumerates these actions before you turn Autopilot on, so that enabling it is an informed, recorded choice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the saved information Veepo submits and certifies in your name.

In Review mode (Autopilot off), Veepo does none of these things. Where an employer requires any legal assent, certification, authorization, or signature, Veepo stops and hands the application to you to read and complete directly. Accepting Veepo's Terms does not accept any employer's terms.

You may revoke this authority for future activity by turning Autopilot off in Settings. Revocation does not undo actions already completed under a valid instruction.

8. Your application responsibilities

You are responsible for the truthfulness and currency of information submitted in your name, including identity, qualifications, dates, experience, education, work authorization, sponsorship needs, availability, salary expectations, licences, certifications, clearances, and screening answers.

You must not direct Veepo to fabricate facts or credentials. Update your profile when information changes.

AI-generated material may contain errors. You should review your profile, base résumé, saved answers, and application history. Enabling Autopilot means permitting Veepo to use your current saved information without your reviewing every ordinary field immediately before submission, subject to required handoffs.

Veepo may refuse an application where information is incomplete, inconsistent, unsupported, or requires personal judgment.

9. Résumés and AI-generated material

You retain ownership of résumés, documents, profile information, and other material you provide (“User Content”).

You grant Veepo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce, format, transform, and transmit User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and support the Service and comply with law. The Privacy Policy describes processing and retention.

Veepo uses third-party AI to parse résumés, suggest edits, tailor materials, map application fields to your saved answers, explain matches, categorize employer messages, and draft screening responses. AI processing is inherent to these features; the manual profile, résumé, and answer tools are the non-AI path. The Privacy Policy describes this processing and the providers involved. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, non-unique, or ineligible for intellectual-property protection.

To the extent Veepo owns rights in output created specifically for you, Veepo grants those rights to you for lawful personal use, subject to third-party rights. We do not guarantee that output is unique, non-infringing, factually accurate, or accepted by an employer.

10. Employer and ATS terms

Employer sites, ATSs, job sources, authentication providers, and linked services are third parties governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Your authorization does not grant Veepo rights a third party has not provided and does not override third-party restrictions. Veepo may restrict or discontinue access where a source does not permit the relevant activity or where continued access could harm users or the Service.

Where an employer requires legal assent, certification, authorization, or signature: in Review mode, Veepo pauses so that you can act directly; when Autopilot is on, Veepo may accept or provide it in your name under the authorization described in section 7. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information Veepo submits, and, in Review mode, for reading those materials.

Veepo is not responsible for a third party's conduct, security, availability, hiring decisions, or handling of information after receipt, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

11. Status, cancellation, and irreversibility

Veepo's statuses have specific meanings:

  • Queued: instruction received; not yet sent to the employer.
  • Preparing: materials are being assembled.
  • Applying: an application interaction is underway and information may be entered or transmitted.
  • Needs you: user review, information, verification, or legal action is required.
  • Submitted: Veepo observed evidence consistent with submission.
  • Employer confirmed: stronger confirmation was received or observed.
  • Submission uncertain: Veepo cannot reliably determine the outcome.
  • Couldn't submit: the attempt did not complete.

Employer email and its applicant portal remain the most authoritative sources. Veepo may be unable to determine submission status with certainty.

Undo cancels an application that is still queued and not yet sent to the employer; it does not delete the record of an application already submitted or handed to you to finish. Cancellation otherwise works only while technically possible, and a running or submitted application may be irreversible. Disabling Autopilot, deleting your Veepo account, or removing a job does not withdraw an employer-held application. Contact the employer directly to request withdrawal, correction, or deletion.

Veepo attempts to reduce duplicates but cannot know every application submitted outside the Service. You are responsible for checking whether you previously applied.

12. Managed inbox and applicant credentials

Veepo may assign you an @veepo.email address. You authorize Veepo to use it in applications, receive application-related messages, store and display them, forward them according to your settings, and process them to identify status or required action as described in the Privacy Policy.

Delivery, forwarding, spam filtering, and classification are not guaranteed. Continue checking any personal email or employer portal associated with an application.

Where required, Veepo may generate and securely store applicant credentials and preserve a limited browser login context. You are responsible for lawful use and compliance with the employer's account rules.

When Autopilot applies through a cloud browser, Veepo records the session (video and screenshots) as a private evidence trail of the application it performed for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Recording is required for every automatic cloud-browser application and cannot be disabled. If Veepo cannot create a recorded session, it does not run an unrecorded automatic application and instead provides a truthful manual handoff. The application-details screen indicates when a session was recorded; replay access is restricted to authorized Veepo administrators and the cloud-browser provider as needed for the stated purposes.

You may not use the managed inbox for spam, impersonation, harassment, unlawful material, or activity unrelated to your legitimate job search.

13. Sensitive and self-identification information

Employer self-identification questions commonly include race or ethnicity, gender, disability, and veteran status. Although an employer may describe these questions as voluntary, Veepo requires you to complete its self-identification profile section to use the application service. You may select an available "prefer not to answer" or equivalent decline response, but you may not bypass the section.

You must also acknowledge that Veepo may reuse these saved answers on employer forms and process them through its isolated sensitive-field mapping path. Veepo provides only the relevant employer question, its permitted options, and the corresponding saved value to that path. It does not place these values in résumé tailoring, motivation drafting, general field-mapping prompts, matching, ranking, feed personalization, product analytics, or operational logs. Veepo preserves an exact saved answer where the employer offers a compatible option; an ambiguous mapping pauses for your review.

A general saved profile answer is not an employer-specific background-check authorization, medical consent, electronic signature, or legal certification.

14. Company ratings

Veepo permits structured company ratings, including an overall score and optional scores for culture, work-life balance, and career growth.

By rating a company, you represent that your rating:

  • reflects genuine first-hand employment experience;
  • is honest and submitted in good faith;
  • was not purchased or improperly incentivized;
  • is not coordinated manipulation; and
  • does not violate law or another person's rights.

You may maintain one rating per company and may edit or delete it. Veepo may display ratings only in aggregated form and suppress an average until a minimum threshold is met.

You grant Veepo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, aggregate, calculate, and display your rating while it remains submitted. When the rating is deleted, Veepo removes it from live calculations and recomputes affected aggregates. The licence then ends except for legally required records, temporary rolling backups, and genuinely de-identified system-level analytics that cannot reasonably be associated with you or reconstructed as your rating.

Veepo may remove or exclude fraudulent, manipulated, duplicated, or unlawful ratings. Aggregate scores are opinions, not Veepo endorsements or guarantees. Concerns may be submitted at support@veepo.app.

If written reviews or comments launch later, additional Community Standards and iOS-compliant moderation and reporting controls will apply before launch.

15. Communications and privacy

Veepo may send service communications necessary for account security, applications, employer messages, and material legal notices.

Marketing communications require a separate choice where applicable. You may unsubscribe from marketing without closing your account, and Autopilot is not conditioned on marketing consent.

You consent to electronic delivery of contracts, notices, and records through the Service or your account email. You may retain and print these Terms. Contact support@veepo.app for an accessible alternative format.

16. Fees, subscriptions, fair use, cancellation, and refunds

Veepo offers a Free plan and may offer a paid Premium subscription at the price, currency, billing period, and applicable taxes shown before purchase. Free includes five assisted applications per rolling 24-hour period. Each application within that allowance may include application-specific AI tailoring and, when Autopilot is authorized, automatic submission. After the allowance is used, new applications are handed to you for manual completion without application-specific AI tailoring until capacity returns.

Premium is presented as Unlimited applications and Unlimited Autopilot, subject to fair-use and abuse-prevention limits. Premium does not provide an unconditional right to automated or resource-intensive use at any volume. Veepo may temporarily pause paid automation, require manual completion, or restrict abusive, unsafe, duplicative, unlawful, or technically disruptive activity under a reasonable unpublished safeguard. Veepo will not publish a numerical Premium threshold as a promised product allowance.

Premium is an automatically renewing monthly subscription unless the purchase screen states otherwise. By subscribing, you authorize the applicable billing provider to charge the displayed recurring price and taxes at the start of each billing period until cancellation. You may cancel through Veepo's Stripe billing portal or through the App Store or Google Play account used to subscribe. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, and access continues until then unless the provider or law requires otherwise.

Except where required by law or marketplace rules, charges are non-refundable and Veepo does not provide prorated refunds for unused time, unused application capacity, or a partially used billing period. Refund requests for marketplace purchases must follow that marketplace's process; web-purchase questions may be sent to support@veepo.app. Statutory cancellation, refund, and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Purchases through an app marketplace are also governed by that marketplace. Digital functionality sold in the iOS app uses Apple's required purchase system unless an applicable current storefront rule or entitlement permits otherwise.

17. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • apply under another person's identity;
  • supply fabricated or unlawfully obtained information;
  • knowingly make false certifications;
  • intentionally flood employers with duplicate or irrelevant applications;
  • misuse the managed inbox or credentials;
  • access another user's data;
  • bypass security, rate limits, or access restrictions;
  • introduce malware or disrupt the Service;
  • scrape, bulk-download, resell, or commercially exploit job data;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where law prohibits that restriction;
  • manipulate ratings or metrics;
  • infringe, harass, threaten, discriminate, or defame; or
  • violate applicable law, sanctions, or export controls.

18. Veepo intellectual property

Veepo and its licensors own the Service, software, design, branding, workflows, match methods, and non-user content. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your job search.

Employer names, logos, postings, and third-party marks belong to their owners. Display does not imply sponsorship.

You grant Veepo a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use suggestions or feedback without identifying or compensating you, unless prohibited by law.

19. Changes and pre-release features

Veepo may change, suspend, or discontinue features for legitimate product, legal, security, or operational reasons. We will provide notice where law requires it or a change materially reduces a paid service.

Preview or TestFlight features may be incomplete and change more frequently. Public iOS beta testing will use TestFlight; a production App Store version will not be presented as an unfinished beta.

20. Suspension, deletion, and termination

You may stop using Veepo and request deletion through Settings on web or iOS.

We may suspend access for a material breach, fraud, security risk, employer-site misuse, rating manipulation, or threat to the Service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond; urgent harm or legal obligations may require immediate action.

Deletion does not retract submitted applications, delete employer-held copies, or automatically close an employer-created account. The Privacy Policy describes deletion and retention.

Provisions that by nature should survive, including ownership, application responsibility, disclaimers, liability, and disputes, survive termination.

21. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veepo does not warrant that:

  • postings are genuine, current, complete, or suitable;
  • an application will be prepared, transmitted, received, reviewed, or accepted;
  • a résumé, match, answer, or recommendation is accurate;
  • the Service will produce an interview, offer, employment, or salary;
  • every employer form will remain supported; or
  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” These Terms do not waive warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

22. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veepo and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, lost income, lost opportunities, loss of employment prospects, loss of data, reputational harm, or business interruption arising from the Service.

Veepo's aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of:

  1. amounts you paid Veepo in the 12 months before the claim; and
  2. CAD $100.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, a breach of our privacy or security obligations, personal injury, or your non-waivable rights under applicable consumer-protection law.

23. Limited indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Veepo against third-party claims directly resulting from your intentional unlawful use, a material misrepresentation you knowingly supplied, User Content you had no right to provide, or your intentional infringement of another's rights.

This does not apply to the extent a claim results from Veepo's breach, negligence, wilful misconduct, or unlawful conduct.

24. Ontario law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law.

Subject to non-waivable rights where you live, disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Ontario. Nothing prevents small-claims proceedings, urgent relief, regulatory complaints, or post-dispute mediation.

These Terms do not require pre-dispute arbitration or waive class-proceeding rights where such provisions are invalid under consumer law.

Before filing a claim, the parties will make a reasonable 30-day good-faith effort to resolve it through support@veepo.app, unless delay would prejudice a right or limitation period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where you reside in a jurisdiction whose consumer-protection, data-protection, or language laws grant you rights that cannot be waived, including Quebec, the United Kingdom, and countries in the European Economic Area, those laws continue to apply to you and nothing in these Terms limits them.

25. Additional iOS terms

If you obtain Veepo through Apple's App Store:

  1. These Terms are between you and Veepo, not Apple.
  2. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the executable's licence unless Veepo presents an approved custom EULA; these Terms govern the Veepo account and hosted Service.
  3. Use is limited to Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.
  4. Veepo, not Apple, provides maintenance and support.
  5. Veepo, not Apple, is responsible for product, compliance, consumer, and intellectual-property claims relating to the app to the extent required by law.
  6. Apple has no warranty obligation except under its marketplace terms.
  7. App Store purchases and refunds are governed by Apple's rules.
  8. You must comply with applicable third-party and wireless-service terms.
  9. You represent that you are not in an embargoed territory or on an applicable prohibited-party list.
  10. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it.
  11. Apple does not sponsor or endorse Veepo's recommendations or applications.

26. Changes to these Terms

Material changes receive reasonable notice and require renewed acceptance where appropriate. A change to Autopilot scope, application authority, sensitive-data use, fees, or dispute terms requires clear notice and any renewed consent required by law.

We display the effective date and version, and make previous versions available on request.

27. General

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as necessary and the remainder continues. Failure to enforce is not a waiver.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. Veepo may assign them in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of substantially all relevant assets, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable feature authorizations, and purchase terms form the agreement concerning the Service. More specific feature terms govern that feature, but cannot reduce a non-waivable privacy or consumer right.
